To activate fans during the playoffs, we gave them a way to literally effect the outcome of the game. #GoodPlayoffKarma called on Sounders fans to do good deeds in order to increase the city's collective karma and help the team win.
Sounders wanted to familiarize fans with individual players, not just the team. So we got intimate with some very personal personals on TV, Facebook and newspapers.
We capped it all off by auctioning off actual dates with Sounders on eBay where you could meet a player and attend a game, with the proceeds going to charity.
